Storing data outside the European Union.

Furthermore, if you live in a country outside the European Union, the disclosure of your personal information as discussed above will involve storing of that information in the USA.

Social media

We have buttons for the social networks Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn on our website, so it is easy for you to share information about Free Press Unlimited. These buttons are bits of code from the social media themselves, and use a cookie. This cookie remembers that you are logged in so that you do not have to log in every time you want to share something on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.

To see what the social media platforms do with your personal data, you may inspect the privacy statements of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Facebook and Twitter cookies are only placed if you are logged in to Facebook during a visit and have given your permission. By installing a program such as ‘Disconnect’ for Chrome and Firefox, you can switch off this feature.

In blog articles, content that has been imported from other sources or sites can be used and offered on the Free Press Unlimited website. For example, YouTube videos. Just like the social buttons, these codes often use cookies. What they do with the cookies and personal data, can be found in the privacy policy of the service concerned. That is out of our control.
